Bald Eagles on Edmonds Waterfront
One a misty rainy morning at Edmonds beach, south of the ferry dock, a pair of Bald Eagles spent time on some pilings looking for a snack and letting everyone and other bird know they were there. At one point one of them swooped off its perch and flew right towards me. It had spied a crab on the beach exposed at retreating low tide. after all that effort, alas it found out it was already dead so as it leapt into the air it dropped it back and few off in frustration.
